Had the worst experience with the night managers. I was being charged double what I had 2 days before for the exact same order and they would do nothing and rudely demanded the name of the manager who had put my order into the till the first time. I did not know it and when they were rude to me I asked for their names and they would not give them to me - stating that I had no right to know their names. Funny, because just 2 minutes earlier they were demanding me to tell them the name of the previous manager. Food was bad, cold and buns were over cooked. Won't be back to this Choke and Pukes!

Nice refurb. Generally clean. Bathroom good be better. Fast service. Kailee was great. Manager went out of his way to serve us.

This McDonald's because of its location (Im guessing) is one extreme or another. Its either being run and looked after very, very well or it is in complete disarray. Nothing in between

New chipotle fries. Or should I say two fries with all the flavour and 30 regular fries

Drive thru lane backed up onto the road. So went inside. It took 20 minutes to get our order of 3 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees. Not sure if typical or not, but it was very slow this morning.

A easy to access location, generally quite clean, and competent staff (haven't had any ordering issues at this location). I have a young daughter and feel like the play area could use a bit of maintenance or updating, but otherwise is quite good.

We just moved here, and I’ve never had such awful experiences at a McDonald’s in my life. We’ve ordered twice now from this location, never again! The first time we ordered two meals. Got home. The drinks were half empty, one of the burgers was wrong, and we were missing a fry. So we drove all the way back. All they said was. Oh oops. Made it again for us. Fine. We figured it was an off night. So we went a couple months later just on a whim. I was nervous but. Whatever. I said let’s double check it. Burgers were missing all their sauces, and one fry was the wrong size. They again, “oh. Fine we’ll remake it.” Grabs the bag. Very rude. Like annoyed that we’d like what we paid for. Whoever is managing this location needs to step up because wow. Bad customer service and bad experiences every time.

McDonald's stated in 2018 that ALL restaurants will be doing ALL day menus. Went to this Location after my 10hr graveyard shift at 10:30am and was told I couldn't order a mcdouble meal until lunch menu oped at 11am.Not to impressed that this Location isn't hold up to McDonald's standards, and had to go to a different one to get my dinner. Not a good job guys, get it together.

I bring my own cup to avoid disposable cups going into the landfill. What's been happening is the drive through staff fill up a cup and then pour it into my go cup and throw the disposable in the garbage. I phoned the manager and she said they had to do that way because it had to be ready. The only way is if I went inside. I would rather not do that. I'm sure that if they got creative they could find a solution to this issue. Perhaps a stainless steel container or... We gotta get creative on solutions for the sake of our planet.

For about the third time now, I have not recieved any straws with my drinks, I guess they always forget to give out straws then. I know that it's McDonald's and they're busy and dealing with many customers, but it's really awkward to drink without them.

It's McDonalds... If you're expecting haute cuisine don't try to find it here.

Went through the drive thru, I was asked to park and they'd bring out my food...15 people were served and through the line before they came out with my meal. Made me last for work.

Unlike Timmies, it actually has great coffee!!

Golden arches, golden fries.If they had gf vegan anything else I would have probably eaten that. Kids enjoyed their happy meals.

This location is a mixed bag. Food quality is as you would expect form a McDonald's however with one fatal flaw. Quality control. In most cases its the classic experience, but there has been too many occasions where attention to detail is not heeded. Among my unsatisfactory trips here, the one i remember the most was where i ordered 2 mcdoubles and ended up with bread and meat and some condiments. Lacking cheese and onions and pickles made the mcdouble a mcdisappointment. If this were the only occurrence i wouldn't have minded. But similar lack of care is rampant. The front staff does handle it relatively well and are friendly however for this locations future success there needs to be appropriate training and quality checking otherwise I forsee myself not visiting this location in future.

9/10 times I use the drive thru here I get handed a cup that's covered in pop and have to wipe it down myself. No ice in my drink today. Food is average, stale fries and cold burgers occasionally. Sometimes it's okay. I try to avoid this location when possible.

Literally was in the drive through, next person in line, and it took a while because the car in front wouldn't move ahead. Finally got to the window for an employee to me that "they were closed." They even put the milk crates behind my car but wouldn't take my order, so I had to move them to back up and leave.Terrible, and just rude.

Ya had ONE job... Chronic wrong orders and often closed when supossedly open 24hrs. Got NOTHING on the burger but the thing I asked for none of.

Claims to be 24hours both online and at the door. Never open at night

Tried to pick up an app order for my wife. I was told I couldn't pick up her online order because the app said she wasn't there. I showed them the order number and a screen shot of the order. The app said I needed to talk to a crew member which I did. Rupinder (shift supervisor) then proceeded to try to convince me that my wife was not at the restaurant which I obviously knew as I was trying to pick up her order on her behalf. They wouldn't let me proceed to order. Then they suggested I call skip the dishes to pick up her order for her even though I was standing right there trying to pick it up myself. 1 star for service, could have been more for the food I don't know, I wasn't allowed to pick up the order.

I went thru the drive thru, ordered a 1/4 lb burger, with extra pickles and extra onions. What l got was a burger with no pickles and no onions. Had to go back into the store for the fixings.

Good place for snack and a meal. Busy location with high foot traffic. Decently clean place to eat but could greatly improve. The washroom could be better as it was quite unclean last visit but it seems it was just "that" time of the day. It was quite evident that the place is clean regularly and the staff seems to be doing their duty well enough as a fast food restaurant. Good parking as it is quite huge with many options. Easilly accessible by foot and vehicle. Good location as its nearby a mall, dollarstore, and other recommended business. The drive thru is quite nice and clean to do an order on.

I ordered a seniors coffee at the drive through. At the window the cashier (946am 12.10.2019) said it was full price and the person entering the order must not have done it correctly. He said sorry and gave me my change. At no time did he offer to adjust the order or make it right. Not sure what sort of customer service they are teaching them there

Like most McDonald's restaurants. Mistakes made and often colder fries

Servers were very friendly and helpful! Accommodated our party even though they already had one booked as we were unable to change times. Thank you!

*UPDATED* Apparently some people REALLY like tartar sauce and I was given their dipping sauce instead of my nuggets by mistake. Spoke to the manager on the phone the next day and he told me he would replace my order. Got to the restaurant and he replaced my 6 piece with a 10, and added a large fries and 2 apple pies. Very much appreciated!

Worst McDonalds ever. I’m sure the sundae machine has been broken for the last five years.

Literally waited over half an hour for nothing, there was somebody at the microphone that told the other person to wait , but nothing happened. We told the other person to go and he did cause nothing happened.

PlayPlace is disgusting. The last 3 times I've brought my children here it has been stinky. This time it's so bad I won't even let my kids in there. I talk to the manager about it and he said it was just professionally cleaned. He's either lying or should get a refund...too bad it's the only McDonald's play place in Nanaimo.

I'm having issues getting a large vanillia latte here these guys want 1.24 the actual price for upsize with a coupon is actually 42 cents. Mean management too. Hygiene is important and contact with hair and food is fairly regularly completed by staff

Everything is kept very clean and tidy at this McDonald's location. I have been served quickly each time I have gone, and the food has always been good. The staff do a really good job, so keep it up! If I need to stop in somewhere for a quick bite to eat, this McDonald's will surely be on the list of options I would consider.

Fast, cheep, and now with table service. It's McDonald's you already know what you think.

Decent place with indoor playground for kids

Clean place in North Nanaimo, way better than most lower mainland, Richmond, Burnaby and Vancouver

If I could rank this 0 stars I would. I ordered a meal through skip the dishes. In my order I asked for a medium strawberry milkshake. Let me remind you that their shakes are almost $4 for a medium sized one. I end up getting my order and to my disappoint they give me a coke or whatever. So I end up calling them up about the situation. "They tell me that they don't serve milkshakes at that specific McDonalds and that they tried contacting me by calling me. There was no missed calls on my phone so I knew the person was lying. So not only did they lie to me which I have zero respect for they also charged me $4 for a drink that comes with the meal. I won't be purchasing anything from this McDonalds ever again. Oh not to mention they support animal cruelty.

There is no way it should take well over half an hour to go from placing an order to getting your food and there is no way to cancel once your in the drive thru..... Grrrr only good thing that's happened is I have now found a different spot to go not far from here with healthier food and less time

I'm all about being understanding that staff can get busy and stressed. However, when you deal with three really angry people, there is a management issue. Extraordinary rudeness. Fail.

If I could give this location a zero, I would cause they don't deserve a star at all. Worst location for customer service we have ever received. The manager there Grant is useless. Got our orders wrong the first time after I waited at the pull out side for 15min to discover we had the wrong order, drove back told the manager, got no compensation for the mistake. All they said was sorry, and nothing else. I asked for cheeseburger to be added to the order without paying but they made me pay for it. They got the order wrong AGAIN the second time and discovered the cheeseburger was not even there by the time we got home. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER WHEN ORDERING FROM THIS LOCATION. I won't be ordering from here ever again.

This is literally the worst McDonald's ever. We moved from the mainland and the first three. THREE. Times we went there they gave me a regular quarter pounder and not a blt quarter pounder. I always go to the other one but tonight I decided to go back to this one and they 1. Forgot the chocolate milk with the kids meal. 2. Gave us half full large fries in our meals. Should have just paid for a medium fries since that we got anyways. 3. Didn't give the dipping sauce for the kids meals. 4. Our burgers were falling apart.I MEAN COME ON.

They say 24 hrs lol not likely everytime I go after work 3-4am they are there with lights on and tell you that they are closed lol usually the system is down ,every night I doubt it something seems fishy. should just not go there, they dont seem to want the business

McDonalds isn't anything like it use to be. Not only is the food quality going out the window, it's not an economic.ical option anymore

Lately I've been obsessed with their big chicken wraps. I hate tomato and still manage to love them.

shame on you!! I was just about late for work this morning as I have to wait in reserve#1 for my breakfast. I arrived at work with 7 min to spare and this is what they served me. I cannot. believe that you treat your customers like this. I will be back after work to return this bagel. I will never return.
